Governor Mike Leavitt | June 14, 2026
How do I become a leader in my life?
Mike Leavitt has spent much of his life in public service and leadership. He served three terms as Governor of Utah and later in the Cabinet of President George W. Bush as Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency and as Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services. Following his government service, he has continued to work with leaders in health care, business, and public policy, helping organizations address complex challenges and prepare for the future.
Brother Leavitt and his wife Jaclyn have also devoted many years of service to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Among his current responsibilities, he serves as President of the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, helping guide one of the Church’s most visible global ministries. Through that service he has witnessed firsthand how faith, music, and service can lift and unite people across cultures and nations.
